More power, more torque, better controlled combustion
Since TetraBOOST E-guard 15 was launched in 2000, it has proven itself in motorsport, both on the track and in rallies. Not only in the world of vintage cars and classic car racing, where the engines depend on leaded fuel, but also with drivers who use TetraBOOST E-guard 15 to increase the octane number of the fuel.
Dyno tests show that TetraBOOST E-guard 15 gives significant improvements in torque and power over other race mixes and pre-prepared race fuels. Customer tests show improved torque values of typically 3-4%. We also see an increase in power, usually between 2 and 3%. Combustion is more controlled and the engine runs cooler.
Drivers report increased smoothness of engines, and better and cleaner pickup in the gears – especially out of slow corners. Most customers show an improvement in lap times with TetraBOOST E-guard 15.
